Tallow is rendered beef fat — ours comes only from grass-fed, grass-finished cattle. Its fatty-acid profile is remarkably similar to human skin oils, which is why it absorbs so beautifully and supports the skin barrier.

For most people, no — grass-fed tallow is considered non-comedogenic and mirrors the skin's own sebum. If you're highly acne-prone, start with a small amount at night and see how your skin responds.

No. Our careful rendering process removes any savory scent. Each jar carries only the aroma of the pure organic essential oils used to scent it.

Absolutely. Use a tiny amount as a nighttime facial moisturizer or barrier balm. Many customers use one jar for face, body, hands and even lips.

A little goes a long way. Used daily on the body, a 4oz jar typically lasts 6–8 weeks. On the face only, much longer.

Because it's all-natural with no stabilizers, tallow can soften in warm weather. Pop it in the fridge for 20 minutes to firm it back up — the quality is unaffected.
