Not at all. Our tallow is carefully rendered and whipped with plant oils so it absorbs clean, with no greasy residue and no beefy scent. Every scent comes from pure organic essential oils — never synthetic fragrance.
Tallow is one of the most skin-compatible ingredients there is and is non-comedogenic for most people. As always, we recommend a quick patch test first if you have highly sensitive or reactive skin.
Warm a pea-sized amount between your fingers and massage into clean, slightly damp skin — face or body. A little goes a long way. Best applied morning and night; one 4oz jar lasts most people 6–8 weeks.
Exclusively from 100% grass-fed, grass-finished cattle raised on regenerative U.S. family farms — never feedlot or grain-finished. Pasture-raised tallow is significantly higher in the vitamins and fatty acids your skin loves.
